High-accuracy measurement of structural movement, deflection and displacement under load.

DMS provides precision deformation monitoring services to measure structural movement, deflection and positional change in industrial assets. Monitoring is performed during load testing, commissioning, maintenance outages and structural investigations where quantified movement data is required.

Using photogrammetry, laser trackers and total stations, DMS can measure structural deformation with sensitivity down to 0.015mm.

All deformation monitoring is performed relative to established control networks to ensure repeatable and reliable displacement measurement.

Stable reference frameworks allow true structural movement to be distinguished from measurement drift or environmental influence.

Measurement Capability

Our Laser tracker & Photogrammetry systems enable high-accuracy 3D coordinate capture across large working volumes, allowing displacement to be measured relative to a defined reference frame.

Monitoring can be:
