Photogrammetry has been extensively used in the dimensional verification
Ford Australias assembly lines. Tooling and fixtures have been dimensionally
inspected using photogrammetry at various engineering subcontractor facilities
to ensure that the assemblies meet Ford's specifications. Vision metrology
has played an important roll in ensuring that key stages of the assembly
line are completed on time and within the tight build tolerances of 0.1mm.
